Vintage Brass Double Stack Port Side Nautical Ship Lantern Brass Double Red Glass Piling Light with Red Dietz Night Watch Fresnel Glass Measures 13" tall and 6.25" in diameter with a long cord. This is a vintage Nautical Lantern that has been converted into a lamp. There is a new red LED bulb inside to better highlight the glass. You are able to change the bulb but you have to remove the four nuts and rods to do so. The two glass globes are original but the four rods have been replaced as they were very fragile (and also likely not original since they weren't brass). The new rods also aren't brass - they are painted in a gold tone to compliment the solid brass housing. Some of the paint is worn in areas revealing the silver tone. The globes are slightly different shades of red as visible in the photos. The top one is darker. There is a switch on the front to turn it off and on which was originally there. It takes a few clicks to turn it off. This was purchased from an estate of a retired Navy officer, so it's possible it might be from a US Navy ship.
